To make things even better, FireBird is completely free of any registration, licensing or deployment fees.

Borland InterBase and FireBird has remarkably low system requirements. Even the server can potentially run on a 4-5 year old computer, although we recommend at least Pentium 4. What concerns the work stations - you can easily use any older machine and give each of your counselors the productivity increasing tool without any pressure on your company budget.
